This event will combine a three-mile walk through 'Wordsworth Country' (the vales of Grasmere and Rydal) with an introduction to the poet's life and site-specific readings of his poetry.

The walk will take about three hours, and it will be led by either Professor Simon Bainbridge or Professor Sally Bushell, both of whom are internationally renowned Wordworth experts based at Lancaster University.

This walk will leave from Stock Lane car park, Grasmere and is a low-level walk, but please come equipped with appropriate footwear (ideally walking boots), waterproofs and refreshements.

Cost: £10 per adult, £5 for under-16s and students.
