Seasonal Retail Assistant, 37.5 hours per week

£7.50 per hour                                                                  

We are looking for a Seasonal Retail Assistant to join our small, friendly, dedicated team from March to October 2018, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis. The ideal candidate would have some retail experience and present a friendly welcome to all visitors, providing information and advice when required, ensuring excellent visitor welcome standards are maintained. You will take the lead to promote the events and activities in the shop, developing the confidence to deal with enquiries, and questions about group bookings, Friends membership and exhibitions with assistance from key members of staff.

 

Seasonal Group Bookings Administrator, 16 hours per week

£7.50 per hour

We welcome thousands of visitors each year who visit as part of an organised party and we are looking for someone with excellent administrative skills to arrange these groups.  You will be the first point of contact for email and phone enquiries from UK based and overseas companies; booking in the groups, providing confirmation letters, dealing with amendments to time and dates, and ensuring that each group arrives on time. This position is a critical role to ensure the smooth running of our visitor flow, which not only includes groups but also independent visitors, school parties, and events.

 

Seasonal Visitor Experience Assistant, various hours

£7.50 per hour

Working as part of our visitor welcome team in our shop you will help visitors access our site which includes museum, historic property and collection. You will provide a friendly and engaging welcome to the public, ensuring their visit is as memorable as it can be. We want to create a place that is inspiring for all, so if you are positive, flexible and ready to learn new things we would love you to join our team.

The majority of the general Visitor Experience Assistants we employ will be based in our shop however there will be some work in the museum and in Dove Cottage giving guided tours. The spread of work will be based on the staffing requirements of the site, and the skills of the candidates.
