Seasonal Visitor Experience Assistants

£7.50 per hour

Working as part of our visitor welcome team in our shop you will help visitors access our site which includes museum, historic property and collection. You will provide a friendly and engaging welcome to the public, ensuring their visit is as memorable as it can be. We want to create a place that is inspiring for all, so if you are positive, flexible and ready to learn new things we would love you to join our team.

The majority of the general Visitor Experience Assistants we employ will be based in our shop however there will be some work in the museum and in Dove Cottage giving guided tours. The spread of work will be based on the staffing requirements of the site, and the skills of the candidates.

The Retail Visitor Experience Assistant will take the lead to maintain excellent customer service standards and to promote the events and activities in the shop. Developing the confidence to deal with enquiries about events, group bookings, Friends membership and exhibitions with assistance from key members of staff.

We have one room to rent on site which is available for candidates wishing to working full time hours.

Full time or part time hours available, although weekend working on a rota is essential. There are a variety of start dates from now until June and all contracts will finish by the end of October 2018.
