Jerwood Centre
11.30am - 12.00pm

The Jerwood Centre is our purpose-built archive and research centre. It holds over 68,000 items: manuscripts and letters by the Wordsworths, thousands of rare books, hundreds of paintings of the Lake District, dozens of fascinating household items and even a working antique printing press. Take a behind-the-scenes tour to see some of these incredible artefacts and find out about the day-to-day work that goes into caring for such a varied collection.

These 30 minute sessions take place at 11.30am on Thursdays from 22 August until 26 September, excluding 5 September.

Free with your admission ticket.
