Jerwood Centre
2.00 - 3.30pm

Prism Arts’ diverse artists have been invited to explore our archives and share their findings with us in lively conversation – accompanied by tea and cake.

In the first of three themed workshops, the artists explore the creation of the Lake District and reveal how people have shaped the natural environment – inspired by the controversial flooding of Thirlmere in the early 1900s and the recent controversy over a zip wire installation.

During the workshop the artists will collaborate with attendees to develop ideas for a special response work to commemorate Wordsworth’s 250th birthday in 2020 – so come along to help shape something incredible!
