We are delighted to present a very special poetry reading from Matt Howard, our March 2019 Poet in Residence.

Matt Howard lives in Norwich, where he works for the RSPB. Matt is also a steering group member of New Networks for Nature, an eco-organisation that asserts the central importance of landscape and nature in our cultural life. His debut pamphlet, The Organ Box, was published by Eyewear in 2014 and his first full collection, Gall, was published by The Rialto in 2018. Prior to this residency with the Wordsworth Trust, Matt was the first poet in residence at the Cambridge Conservation Initiative. He has previously worked in schools as a poet as part of Waveney and Blythe Arts’ Famous Five Birds project.

Matt will be reading a selection of his latest work, including from his latest collection, Gall, followed by a Q&A and a wine reception.
