The Wordsworth Trust is delighted to welcome Simon Armitage back to Grasmere for his annual reading, an established and hugely popular feature of our summer events programme.

Simon has published twelve collections of poetry in total, the first being Zoom! in 1989 and the latest The Unaccompanied and New Cemetery in 2017.  He also writes extensively for television, radio and theatre and is the author of two novels and four non-fiction best-sellers: All Points North, Gig, Walking Home and Walking Away.  He is also Professor of Poetry at Oxford University and the University of Leeds.

This evening, he will read a varied selection of his own poems.

Cost: £10.  Advance booking by telephone is advised, as this popular event often sells out.

Please note that if you wish to purchase tickets or books at the event, we will only be able to accept cash payments.
