3.30 - 4.30pm

This event is now sold out, but please take a look at our other Wintertide Reflections talks here, and be sure to book ahead.

As the nights draw in and the days grow colder, it is the time of year to use the winter as the Romantics did – to read, to learn, and to share stories in good company. Pull up a chair and enjoy a short informal talk on a topic connected to the Wordsworths – all with a hot drink and a seasonal bake close to hand, and led by our knowledgeable staff and trainees!

This week, discover more about the Wordsworths and Windermere Ferry with John Coombe. Wordsworth frequently used the ferry as a schoolboy and a young man – what stories does it have to tell, and how has it changed over the centuries?

Cost: £7, including tea and cake.

Online booking is available up until midnight the day before the event. On the day of the event tickets can be purchased from the Wordsworth Trust Shop.
