Dorothy Wordsworth - An Anthology

This very special book contains a selection of Dorothy Wordsworth’s greatest writing, including major extracts from her much loved Grasmere Journal, written whilst living at Dove Cottage. Other journal extracts featured include pieces from her Alfoxden and Scottish Journals.

Dorothy was also a prolific letter writer. This anthology includes extracts from many of these letters to friends and family, building a fascinating picture of her life and her world. The selection has been compiled and edited by Pamela Woof, editor of OUP's, The Grasmere & Afoxden Journals and an authority on many aspects of Dorothy Wordsworth’s life.

An ideal companion to our book,  William Wordsworth – An Anthology
