Please note that we will be closed from 24 December until early spring.

Due to our Heritage Lottery Funded project, Reimagining Wordsworth, the Wordsworth Museum will be closed throughout 2019. As part of the project, conservation work will also be taking place in Dove Cottage, this means that at times next year there will be an alternative virtual tour available in our research centre.

We are currently finalising when we will reopen, what will be available and the opening times for next year and will update this page as soon as details are confirmed. Please check this page or phone ahead before you visit.
