Tree Talk and Walk

Join Dr Anna Burton and Dr Amanda Blake Davis for a guided ‘Tree Talk and Walk’ to ‘John’s Grove’, the woodland space that Wordsworth frequented and associated with his late brother. On this ‘Talk and Walk’ you will learn more about Wordsworth’s connection to this particular ‘Grove’ and the Wordsworth family’s connections with Lakeland trees and woodlands, within and beyond Grasmere.

This is a short walk (approximately 2 miles) but does feature a steep walk uphill and back down via the same route. As such, please wear appropriate footwear and weather-appropriate clothing on the day, and bring any necessary refreshments and medication, as required.

This is part of the Literary Arboretum day of free events at Wordsworth Grasmere.
