Exclusive showcase to conclude
The Time Lab Exhibition
Wordsworth Grasmere is hosting a one-off exclusive showcase on 24 October as the venue prepares to conclude the experimental ‘The Time Lab’ exhibition.
Visitors are invited to join artist and guest curator Stacey Joy Rossouw for an artistic performance lecture and see The Time Lab in its final form before the exhibition concludes at the end of October.
The exhibition launched this summer with an interactive studio, encouraging visitors to leave their own stories and thoughts, which have then been brought together with the work of William Wordsworth to create ‘The Time Lab: Exploring a living Prelude.’
Over the past few months, the museum’s special exhibition gallery has been transformed into a space filled with art, music and creativity. At the special event on 24 October, artist and guest curator, Stacey, will provide insights into her creative process, showcase some of the art and music that she has composed during the exhibition, and share some of the incredible stories and moments from the project. It will also be a final opportunity for members of the public to contribute to the exhibition by submitting their own ‘spot of time’ – a powerful moment that has shaped who you are – to the exhibition before it ends.
The performance lecture begins at 7pm in the Jerwood Centre, but guests are invited from 6pm to enjoy refreshments while exploring The Time Lab.
Tickets cost just £10 per person
