Dove Cottage Young Poets

Dove Cottage Young Poets meet fortnightly to read, discuss and write poetry with contemporary poet Kim Moore. The group look at a range of contemporary and historical poems each week and create their own work in response, with support from Kim and the group.

Young writers can also work towards a Bronze, Silver or Gold Arts Award, attend and perform at poetry events and meet other young writers.

Whilst the group is usually based in Kendal, because of the current national restrictions all sessions will take place on Zoom for the foreseeable future.
