Dove Cottage Young Poets perform at Brewery Poets

This well-established free group for young people aged 13-19 meets fortnightly (in term time). Participants read, discuss and write poetry with Cumbrian poet Katie Hale. The group looks at a range of contemporary and historical poems each week and creates their own work in response, with support from Katie and the group.

On Friday 25 October, rather than the usual meeting, two Dove Cottage Young Poets will perform at Brewery Poets alongside poets Ilse Peddler, Clare Proctor and Anne Banks.

The event will take place at The Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal at 7.30pm (doors from 7.15pm).
