Dove Cottage Young Poets

This well-established free group for young people aged 13-19 meets fortnightly on Fridays from 4-6pm on Zoom. Participants read, discuss and write poetry with contemporary poet Kim Moore. The group looks at a range of contemporary and historical poems each week and creates their own work in response, with support from Kim and the group.

Young writers can also work towards a Bronze, Silver or Gold Arts Award, attend and perform at poetry events and meet other young writers.

The dates for the next sessions are:

16 September: Last session with Kim Moore (use the existing Zoom link)

30 September: First session with Katie Hale (new Zoom to be sent by Zoe closer to the time)

7 October: with Katie

No session in half term.

4 November: with Katie

18 November: with Katie

9 December: with Katie
