This well-established free group for young people aged 13-19 meets fortnightly (in term time) on Fridays from 4-6pm on Zoom. Participants read, discuss and write poetry with Cumbrian poet Katie Hale. The group looks at a range of contemporary and historical poems each week and creates their own work in response, with support from Katie and the group.
Young writers can also attend and perform at poetry events and meet other young writers with regular visits to Wordsworth Grasmere.
