Little Wanderers

These early-years sessions are designed to encourage your little ones to be creative and playful. Each themed morning is a mixture of songs, stories and play-based learning inspired by William’s poetry, Dorothy’s journal, and their lives at Dove Cottage 200 years ago. For families with children under 5.

Friday 24 September: Berries (outside)
Friday 1 October: Owls (inside)
Friday 8 October: Grasmere Lake (inside)
Friday 15 October: Squirrels and Hazelnuts (outside)
Friday 22 October: Acorns and Conkers (inside)

To maintain social distancing, we will be booking up to 6 families per session with up to 6 people per family.

How to book

To book please email education@wordsworth.org.uk. State your name, the number and age of the children you wish to bring, details of any other adults attending and contact details for track and trace. Please note that family groups must not be over 6 people. You must have received a confirmation email from us before attending a session as places are strictly limited.

Bring a suitable face mask/covering. Although these sessions usually take place outside, adults are requested to wear a mask if accessing indoor areas.

Tickets £4 per family. Parking is free for this session.
