Twilight Tales in Dove Cottage

Are you ready for a spooktacular Halloween? Join us for hot chocolate, gingerbread, and Halloween crafts in our cosy Learning Space. Children will have fun dressing up in Georgian costumes while learning about the Wordsworths and hearing some of their writing. At twilight we’ll all head over to Dove Cottage and listen to some spooky Cumbrian stories – perfect for a special Halloween in the Lake District!

For families with children aged 3+. To maintain social distancing we will be booking no more than 6 families for this session.

How to book

To book please email education@wordsworth.org.uk. Let us know your name, the number and age of the children you wish to bring, details of any other adults attending and contact details for track and trace. You must have received a confirmation email from us before attending as places are strictly limited.

Bring a suitable face mask/covering. Adults and children aged 11+ are requested to wear a mask if accessing indoor areas.

Tickets £12 per family, which includes hot chocolate and homemade gingerbread for the children. Please bring this in cash on the day. Parking is free for this event.
