Untrodden Ways: Poetry Club

From September Untrodden Ways: Poetry Club will meet fortnightly to read, discuss and write poetry with contemporary poet Kim Moore at Signal Film and Media in Barrow. Kim will guide the young people through a range of writing exercises which will focus on creativity, expression and developing a love of language. The group will explore a range of contemporary and traditional poetry.

Attendees who cannot travel to Barrow or are having to self-isolate can access the group via Zoom. The sessions will be live captioned by Otter to enable young people who are deaf/Deaf to access the sessions. Otter uses AI to create real-time captions that we hope will make these sessions more accessible. This service is not 100% accurate but is similar to what you might see on a live news broadcast.
